Additional Information: 2008 ITA Certification School 7 PM - 9 PM
Required for 2008 ITA certification. Required for National- and
Professional-level officials who work ITA. Sectional school also required for
ITA certification. Referee school strongly recommended for ITA. Instructor for
this school will be Jane Goodman, USTA Liaison for Collegiate Tennis.
School will include material particularly relevant for officials who work ITA in
Southern California.

SECTIONAL/USTA
8 AM - 12 Noon
This session is for experienced (+5 years) officials only. Required for USTA-level
or below certification in any category. Required for all those who wish to work
ITA, including National- and Professional-level officials.
REFEREE
12:30 PM - 3 PM
Required for 2008 Referee certification at any level. Highly recommended for ITA.
ITA
3 PM - 5 PM
Required for 2008 ITA certification. Required for National- and
Professional-level officials who work ITA. Sectional school also required for
ITA certification. Referee school strongly recommended for ITA.
EXAMS
Bring a completed exam answer sheet to each class you attend. All exams are
open book. Exam questions are be based on the 2007 Friend at Court (FAC). Use
the 2007 edition of the FAC it to reference your answers. No one will be
admitted to any class without a completed exam.

Additional Information FOR NEW OR RECENTLY CERTIFIED OFFICIALS
This Sectional school is for new rookie officials, or those with less than 5
years experience. A Sectional school is required for certification in 2008 for
all officials certified at USTA-level or below in any category. For Referee or
ITA certification, additional schools are required. EXAMS You must bring a completed exam answer sheet to this class. The exam is open
book and is based on the 2007 Friend at Court (FAC). Use the 2007 edition of the
FAC it to reference your answers. If you do not have an FAC, request one from
the contact person. No one will be admitted without a completed exam.
